  • Children aged 6–9 years: 2–3 measuring spoons ( 10–15 ml), 3–4 times a day.
  • Children aged 9–12 years: 3–4 measuring spoons (15–20 ml), 3–4 times a day.

How to Take Alphamol Correctly

Follow the doctor's recommendations and read the information listed on the drug packaging label before consuming Alphamol. Do not use more or exceed the recommended dose without a doctor's approval.

  • Alphamol in caplet form can be consumed before or after meals. Drink this medicine with the help of a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the medicine.
  • If you want to take Alphamol in syrup form, shake the medicine bottle first of all. Use the measuring tool provided in the packaging. Do not use tablespoons or teaspoons because the dosage may not be correct.
  • In case you forget drink Alphamol, take this medicine as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time to take the next medication, ignore the missed dose and do not double the next dose.
  • Medicines containing paracetamol cannot be used long term. The use of Alphamol can be stopped immediately once complaints of pain and fever have improved. 
  • If fever has not improved after 3 days or pain has not subsided after 5 days, stop consume Alphamol and consult a doctor.

  • Decreased absorption and effectiveness of paracetamol if taken together with cholestyramine
  • Increased risk of liver damage if used with barbiturate drugs, such as phenobarbital
  • Increased risk of side effects if used with probenecid or isoniazid
  • Decreased effectiveness of the drug lamotrigine in preventing seizures
  • Increased risk of side effects side chloramphenicol or busulfan
