However, many mothers often forget to take care of their own health. The number of jobs that must be undertaken in taking care of the household makes mothers vulnerable to fatigue which can trigger various diseases.

Various Health Problems Often Experienced by Mothers

As previously explained, the many activities that mothers do every day can cause various health problems, including:

1. Muscle pain

Household chores, such as cooking, sweeping, and washing, are activities that rely heavily on muscle performance. This activity often triggers muscle pain, especially if it is done excessively and repeatedly

2. Fever

In addition to muscle pain, housewives also often experience fever. This is generally caused by household chores that drain a lot of energy, so mothers experience fatigue and become more susceptible to disease.

Fatigue that occurs continuously can have an impact on decreasing the body's resistance. This condition makes the body susceptible to infections, both bacteria and viruses, which will cause symptoms in the form of fever

3. Stress

Doing housework as well as caring for family members every day makes mothers spend more time meeting the needs of others than their own needs.

Many moms don't have more time to pamper themselves or just do hobbies. In fact, this is important for mothers to do to avoid stress in the midst of the many demands of household work.

A lack of rest, coupled with stress, can make mothers vulnerable to various health problems, such as headaches and colds.

Various Ways to Maintain Maternal Health

Maintaining the health of the family is not only a mother's job. Each family member also has an obligation to pay attention to each other's health conditions and remind each other to always take care of their health.

Well, in order to maintain maternal health, there are several tips that can be done, namely:

  • Share the burden of household chores with family members.
  • Eat healthy and nutritious foods, such as fruits and vegetables.
  • Do regular exercise, such as yoga or walking.
  • Enough sleep at least 7 hours every day.
  • Immediately rest after strenuous physical activity.
  • Take time to socialize with other people.
  • Manage stress well, for example by doing a hobby or just writing a journal.

If you have a health problem, don't ignore it. Get some rest and don't hesitate to see a doctor.

To overcome the symptoms that are bothersome, mothers can take over-the-counter medicines, such as paracetamol to relieve pain and fever. So, it never hurts to always maintain the availability of this drug at home. However, don't forget to use the medicine according to the instructions on the package, okay?

If your mother's complaints don't improve even after resting or even taking medication, see a doctor immediately. This is because these complaints can be a sign of a serious illness.
