The use of condoms during sex is actually quite effective in preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. However, its use needs to be done carefully because the condom can be left in the vagina during penetration.

  • Failure to hold the base of the condom while pulling the penis out after ejaculation
  • Using too much lubricant during sex

How to Get Rid of Leaving Condoms in the Vagina

When the condom is left in the vagina, you and your partner do not need to panic. Try to be calm and relaxed so that the condom can be removed easily. However, if you find it difficult, try asking your partner for help to pull it out of the vagina.

When going to pull out the remaining condom, you are advised to wash your hands first. Next, find a comfortable position. One position that can make it easier to take a condom is a standing position with one leg up on a toilet seat or small stool.

With this position, try to feel the vagina slowly and gently. If when you feel you find a part of the condom that is left behind, pinch the part using your index and middle finger, then pull it slowly.

If that doesn't work, try changing to other positions such as squatting or the missionary position, which is lying on your back with your legs apart and your knees slightly bent. The method of taking the condom left in this position is also almost the same.

Feel the vagina first, then pinch the remaining condom using 2 fingers and pull it slowly. Although it is a little difficult, do not try to remove the condom using tweezers, eyelash curlers, or small scissors, because these objects can injure the thin vaginal skin.
