However, as the PSBB transition status was established and the adoption of new habit adaptations, activities began to return to normal. Various businesses and shopping centers began to be opened with certain terms and protocols.

Religious activities may also begin. One of them is the sacrifice and Eid al-Adha prayers. However, this permit to carry out the activities of sacrifice and Eid al-Adha prayer does not apply in all regions in Indonesia.

In areas that are categorized as red or black zones (high risk of Corona virus transmission), the two activities may not be held. Residents who live in the area are encouraged to offer prayers in their homes and utilize the services of slaughtering sacrificial animals through digital networks.

Meanwhile, in the yellow and green zone, slaughter of sacrificial animals and Eid al-Adha prayers is permitted. However, it must be in accordance with health protocols and the applicable provisions relating to the implementation of slaughtering sacrificial animals and Eid al-Adha prayers in the middle of a pandemic.

Procedure of Sacrificial Activities in the Pandemic Period COVID-19

Slaughtering of sacrificial animals and distribution of meat is carried out by a committee that has been elected or given trust by the residents. In the process, residents are encouraged to avoid crowds or not witness the slaughtering.

The following are the things that need to be considered during the activity of slaughtering sacrificial animals in the middle of a pandemic:

1. Pay attention to the cleanliness of sacrificial animal slaughterhouses

Make sure the place for slaughtering sacrificial animals is maintained clean and has good sanitation. If necessary, spray the disinfectant solution first to clean the animal slaughter area before sacrificial activities begin.

2. Keep your distance
