How to Process Healthy Greasy Foods
In addition to limiting the portion, the method of processing also determines whether oily food is good for your body's health or not. Here are some healthy tips that you can apply when you want to eat oily food:
- Try to make fried, coconut milk dishes, or stir fry yourself at home.
- Do not use cooking oil repeatedly, enough for 1 cooking only.
- Use coconut oil as a healthier option for frying food at high temperatures.
- Make sure the oil is hot with a temperature of 176–190oC before frying, so that the oil does not seep into the food.
- Choose olive oil for sauteing food instead of palm oil.
- Choose food ingredients that contain healthy fats, such as salmon, sardines, avocado, peanuts, and almonds.
It's clear, greasy food is not completely dangerous. As long as it is consumed in moderation and accompanied by balanced nutritious food, oily food can still spoil your tongue without making you feel guilty
